Teacher & Parent FAQ
Do students or kids need accounts?
No. Kids just type a name and play — keeping it COPPA-friendly for classrooms and homes. Optional accounts save scores to the leaderboard.
What devices does it work on?
Anything with a browser — Chromebook, iPad, laptop, phone. No installs, no admin approval needed.
Is kids' data private?
We don't collect personal information from kids playing without an account — whether at school or at home. For schools needing a Data Privacy Agreement, that's part of the site license tier.
Can I use my own word list?
Custom lists — your weekly classroom list or your kid's homework list — are the #1 thing we're building next. Join the pilot and we'll bring you in as soon as it's ready.
How much will it cost?
Pilot teachers and parents get Pro free for the first year. After that: $49/yr per teacher or family, or $299–899/yr for a whole-school license.
